Social Media and Retail Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media and Retail Assistant to shape the online presence and drive sales for Ananse Studios in Accra. This hands‑on role blends content creation, community engagement, and retail activation within a fast‑moving creative agency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts, schedule posts and interact with the community.
• Capture and produce photos, videos, Reels, Stories and TikTok clips that showcase designers, products and studio life.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely publishing and performance monitoring.
• Identify and document authentic studio moments for engaging storytelling.
• Drive foot traffic through retail activations, pop‑ups, product launches and promotional events.
• Create and market sales packages to attract customers and boost revenue.
• Respond to comments, direct messages and community inquiries promptly.

Required profile

• Passionate about African creativity and fashion.
• Customer‑focused with a commercial mindset.
• Proactive, able to take initiative and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable conducting informal interviews.

Required skills

• Proficiency in managing Instagram, TikTok and Facebook platforms.
