Special Needs Preschool Teacher – West Legon

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Special Needs Preschool Teacher to join our inclusive early‑childhood centre in West Legon. The role involves delivering interactive lessons, supporting neurodivergent learners, and collaborating with families to ensure each child reaches developmental milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging indoor and outdoor lessons, encouraging learning through play and movement.
• Plan and implement activities that support each child’s developmental and educational goals.
• Observe, assess, and document student progress, providing regular updates to management and parents.
• Provide behavioural and social‑emotional support while maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology or related field.
• Previous experience working with children with special needs (preferred).
• Positive, collaborative mindset with willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Patient, adaptable, compassionate and physically able to participate in play‑based activities.
• Residing in or near West Legon is an advantage; professional certification in Special Education is a plus.
