About the role
The Stock Control Officer will oversee the receipt, storage, and transfer of pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring 100% accuracy and preventing product expiries. The role supports the branch’s operational efficiency by maintaining optimal stock levels and adhering to standard operating procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Update stock systems daily, monitor movements, and lead major stock‑take exercises to resolve imbalances.
- Follow SOPs, apply FIFO/LIFO principles, and keep shelves organized alphabetically.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports to the Branch Manager.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Required profile
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing & Supply or Marketing.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or food & beverage industries.
Required skills
- Proficiency in inventory software.
