Stock & Procurement Officer

About the role

The Stock & Procurement Officer will manage inventory and purchasing for a hospitality operation, ensuring that all food, beverage, and operational supplies are accurately recorded, procured, and controlled. This role supports the kitchen, bar, and other service areas by maintaining optimal stock levels and preventing waste.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of food ingredients, beverages, coffee products, packaging, cleaning supplies and other operational inventory.
• Record all stock received and issued to the kitchen, bar and other operational areas.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile them against records.
• Monitor stock levels, set minimum and reorder points, and track high‑value items.
• Identify purchasing requirements, prepare purchase requests, obtain quotations and place orders with approved suppliers.
• Coordinate deliveries, inspect goods for quantity, quality, expiry dates and condition, and report any discrepancies.
• Control stock issuance to operational areas, record movements and investigate unusual usage.
• Document and investigate waste, damage, expired or spoiled products and report variances.

Required profile

• Entry level (minimum 12 months of relevant experience).
• Strong attention to detail for inventory reconciliation.
• Ability to monitor stock levels, identify variances and report them promptly.
