Store Officer

About the role

The Store Officer will support GBfoods’ manufacturing operations in Accra and Tema by managing the receipt, storage, issuance and control of inventory. This detail‑oriented position ensures accurate stock records, monitors inventory movements and assists procurement while complying with safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Issue materials and spare parts to operators and supervisors based on approved requisitions.
• Maintain and update stock cards, bin cards and inventory registers.
• Receive, inspect and verify quantity and quality of goods from vendors.
• Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and update incoming goods registers for local and imported materials.
• Process supplier invoices and forward documentation to the Accounts Department.
• Maintain filing systems for store transactions and inventory activities.
• Track company tools and assets using the Tools Movement Register.
• Support urgent procurement of approved materials when required.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report any inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food‑safety and workplace‑safety requirements.
