Technical Sales Engineer – IT Solutions

About the role

Fairgreen Limited is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who blends deep IT infrastructure expertise with proven B2B sales capability. The role is revenue‑driving, requiring you to identify opportunities, build client relationships, design tailored solutions and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and account research to build a sustainable pipeline.
• Conduct discovery sessions, translate client requirements into solutions covering networking, security, servers, storage, virtualization, data‑centre, power/cooling and cloud.
• Develop technical proposals, bills of materials, solution designs and respond to RFPs/RFQs, coordinating with technical teams and OEM partners.
• Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle – qualification, proposal, presentation, negotiation and closing – while providing accurate forecasts.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Engage with distributors and technology partners for pricing, deal registration and solution validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of B2B technology sales experience with a track record of closing enterprise IT solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, cybersecurity, servers, storage, virtualization, data‑centre infrastructure, power and cooling, and cloud/hybrid environments.
• Proven consultative selling, proposal development, negotiation and pipeline management skills.
