Technical Sales Engineer – Radio Communications

About the role

IDL Africa Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive business development and provide technical expertise in radio communications across Ghana. You will work closely with the sales team, customers, and technology partners to design, sell, and support end‑to‑end communication solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in radio communications and related technologies.
• Prepare technical presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, quotations and tender responses.
• Conduct RF coverage analysis, basic network planning and design complete radio communication solutions.
• Support installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of radio systems.
• Provide post‑sales technical support, system upgrades, optimisation and performance assessments.
• Deliver technical training to customers, partners and internal teams and represent the company at exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, telecommunications or radio communications.
• Strong understanding of professional mobile radio (PMR) technologies and experience with DMR, TETRA and LTE/PoC solutions.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
