About the role
Transmed is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to deliver products safely across the Accra and Tema region. The role involves transporting goods to customer sites, ensuring accurate delivery records, and maintaining the vehicle in top condition.
Key responsibilities
- Drive delivery trucks safely, adhering to company QA guidelines and avoiding damages.
- Park trucks at customer premises without causing harm to staff or property.
- Verify and tally received goods with customers, obtain signed invoices, and collect cash or cheque as per delivery terms.
- Maintain high standards of truck cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance.
- Report any vehicle defects promptly to the supervisor and maintenance manager.
Required profile
- Completed secondary education.
- Valid Ghanaian driving licence (Class C).
- Ability to recognise routes and customer locations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Willingness to follow supervisor instructions and respect customer premises.
