Water Treatment System Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Water Treatment System Technician to support our franchise network in Ghana. The role involves installing, maintaining and troubleshooting water treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to technical service requests from franchises and perform installations, maintenance and troubleshooting of water treatment systems.
• Implement and monitor operational and quality‑control processes, providing training to local operators.
• Conduct regular franchise visits, quality audits and ensure adherence to Jibu quality standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EPA).
• Support the JibuCo laboratory with sample collection, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of audits, quality‑control procedures and preventive‑maintenance programs.
• Develop, plan and coordinate preventive‑maintenance schedules for all Ghanaian franchises and track performance against KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in water engineering, water production or related fields.
• At least 1–3 years of experience supervising small teams.
• Experience with quality‑assurance measures and dealing with regulatory bodies such as FDA or EPA.
• Detail‑oriented with a critical eye for quality breaches and process improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
