Web Developer – Shopify & AI Automation

About the role

Nova Niche Ghana Limited is expanding its digital footprint and seeks a Web Developer to own the design, development, and maintenance of its ecommerce platforms and internal tools. You will blend front‑end expertise with AI‑driven automation to deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions that directly impact business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify stores, including custom theme creation with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party apps and services, optimise site performance, ensure responsive design, and apply on‑page SEO best practices.
• Build and automate product catalog workflows, handling bulk data uploads and AI‑generated imagery and copy.
• Set up AI‑powered content pipelines using models such as Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Imagen, and quality‑check outputs before publishing.
• Create internal web tools and dashboards, integrating SaaS platforms (Shopify, Asana, Google Workspace) via RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, documented code, participate in code reviews, and manage version control with Git.

Required profile

• Relevant certification or demonstrable portfolio in web development or software engineering.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Self‑directed learner who quickly adopts new tools and technologies.
