Youth Pastor

About the role

The Youth Pastor is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Winneba, responsible for leading the youth ministry at Ordinary People School of the Prophets. This role involves teaching, mentoring, and providing pastoral care to young people and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Bible studies and age‑appropriate teachings for youth.
• Mentor and disciple young people through small groups and one‑on‑one counseling.
• Organise youth services, events, and outreach programs.
• Provide pastoral care, guidance, and confidential counseling to youth and families.
• Collaborate with school leadership to align ministry activities with the institution’s Apostolic and Prophetic values.
• Build strong, inclusive relationships with students, fostering a safe environment for spiritual growth.

Required profile

• Strong biblical knowledge with the ability to teach and interpret Scripture clearly.
• Experience in youth ministry, discipleship, mentoring, and program development.
• Pastoral skills including spiritual guidance, counseling, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage diverse youth.
• Maturity of character, consistent faith practice, and alignment with Apostolic and Prophetic ministry values.
