Zonal Sales Manager - Western Central

About the role

The Zonal Sales Manager will own revenue and distribution performance for a defined geographical zone. Reporting to senior leadership, the role focuses on converting airtime into reloads, driving gross adds, SIM activations and reducing churn across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales strategy to grow revenue and achieve subscriber growth targets.
• Manage distribution of Telecel’s airtime, ensuring distributors, DSAs and associate distributors meet KPI standards.
• Drive acquisitions for Mobile, T. Cash, SOHO & Fixed services and meet related revenue goals.
• Identify and develop acquisition channels, overseeing T. Cash distribution KPIs such as float, liquidity and active agents.
• Deliver product training to agents before launches and on an ongoing basis.
• Lead a team of Area Account Developers within the zone.
• Execute local trade‑marketing campaigns, activations and promotions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and distribution or a comparable role.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the country.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Strong independent work ethic, effective prioritisation and reliable handling of confidential information.
