About the role

The University is looking for a dynamic, self‑motivated Accounting Assistant to support its finance department. This role involves handling a range of accounting tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with university policies.

Key responsibilities

Prepare statements of accounts
Check and verify current accounts
Prepare bank reconciliation statements
Handle correspondence related to financial matters
Supervise the work of junior staff and lower‑grade personnel

Required profile

HND in Accounting or a related field awarded by a recognised institution
Completed national service
Demonstrated sound judgement, high sense of responsibility, initiative and discretion
