Architect – Design & Build Projects

About the role

The Architect will join Fridoug Limited’s multidisciplinary team in Accra, supporting the design and delivery of residential, commercial, healthcare and institutional projects from concept through construction. This full‑time, on‑site position involves creating architectural designs, technical documentation and BIM models while ensuring compliance with quality standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, detailed designs and construction documents for diverse project types.
• Create and maintain BIM models using Revit, perform model coordination and clash detection.
• Produce AutoCAD drawings and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, quantity surveying and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in site supervision, coordination meetings and provide construction‑phase support.
• Prepare client presentations, design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of digital design standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect with the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA) or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum five years of professional experience on residential, commercial and healthcare projects.
• Proven ability to take projects from concept design through construction.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD.
• Extensive experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) for design coordination and documentation.
• Knowledge of construction detailing, technical documentation and Ghanaian building regulations.
