Associate Professor – Faculty of Engineering

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Faculty of Engineering. Candidates may apply to any of the following departments: Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics and Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct and publish research in the chosen engineering discipline.
• Engage in community service and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
• Participate in academic committees and university governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or applied science field.
• Either an existing appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or a minimum of four years as a Senior Lecturer with at least ten publications in recognized journals.
• Three referees who can attest to academic and professional competence.
