Associate Training Programme – Pupillage

About the role

The Associate Training Programme offers two pupil positions at a boutique corporate law firm in Accra. Selected candidates will work alongside experienced counsel on high‑value transactions across banking, finance, M&A, project advisory, mining and commercial law. The programme provides hands‑on exposure from day one and builds a solid foundation in modern corporate legal practice.

Key responsibilities

• Train closely with senior counsel and participate in client meetings.
• Conduct legal research, draft documents and assist in the preparation of high‑value transactions.
• Support the team on cross‑border advisory projects in banking, finance, M&A, mining and fintech sectors.
• Contribute to the development of legal opinions and regulatory advice for corporate clients.

Required profile

• Confirmed enrollment for the Ghana Bar in October 2026.
• LLB degree from a recognized university with a strong academic record.
• Demonstrated research, drafting and communication abilities.
• Genuine interest in corporate, commercial or fintech/regulatory work.
• Prior internship experience at a corporate law firm (advantageous).
• Ability to work on‑site in Accra and collaborate within a team‑oriented environment.
