B2B Business Development Manager

About the role

Bridge for Billions is seeking a motivated B2B Business Development Manager to expand its entrepreneurship programs across Africa. You will own lead generation, pipeline management and proposal development, working closely with the Business Development Director.

Key responsibilities

• Research, map and qualify corporate, foundation, family office and development agency partners to build a high‑quality pipeline for Conecta Africa and direct programs.
• Run sequenced outreach (cold email, LinkedIn, follow‑ups) and leverage events and networks in Accra to secure introductions.
• Co‑lead discovery calls, design nurturing plans, and drive each opportunity to a clear decision.
• Draft concept notes and proposals, manage submission logistics, and ensure accuracy of all documents.
• Log outreach and meetings in real time, produce weekly pipeline reports and flag stale deals.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in business development, fundraising, partnerships or international development.
• Proactive, owner‑mindset, detail‑oriented and comfortable working toward targets.
• Strong written and spoken English (native‑level or very fluent).

Required skills

• CRM proficiency with real‑time data entry (power‑user preferred).
• Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar outbound tools.
• Strong research ability to identify non‑obvious funding prospects.
• Independent drafting, editing and submission of high‑quality proposals and concept notes.
