BI and Market Insights Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a talented, business‑oriented BI & Market Insights Analyst to join our WAC Business Unit. The role sits at the intersection of business intelligence, analytics, market insights and strategy, turning complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve executive dashboards and analytical reporting solutions covering commercial, financial and operational performance.
• Transform data into actionable recommendations through trend, variance and driver analysis, building compelling business narratives for senior leaders.
• Standardise KPI definitions, reporting methodologies and governance frameworks to improve accuracy and comparability across markets.
• Automate manual reporting processes and data preparation activities to reduce cycle times and increase efficiency.
• Lead market intelligence activities, monitoring market share, competitor developments, pricing movements and channel evolution, and translate insights into growth opportunities.
• Build business cases and conduct scenario analyses to support growth, productivity, portfolio and route‑to‑market initiatives.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Market Intelligence, Strategy or related analytical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, Marketing, Information Systems or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Proven ability to convert complex business questions into actionable insights and to work with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise in Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency with Power Query and Excel for data modelling, automation and dashboard development.
