Brand Manager – FMCG Distributor

About the role

Rafimex Company LTD is seeking a Brand Manager to drive the growth of its FMCG portfolio in Ghana. You will be responsible for the full brand lifecycle, from strategic planning to in‑store execution, working closely with sales, operations and international brand principals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement brand strategies and annual plans for assigned brands.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and promotional plans to achieve revenue and distribution targets.
• Plan and execute trade marketing activities, promotions, activations and in‑store visibility.
• Coordinate new product launches from planning through market execution.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and brand principals, ensuring marketing support.
• Monitor brand performance, margins, stock levels and promotional ROI.
• Conduct regular market visits to assess shelf placement, pricing and competitor activity.
• Identify opportunities for new products, customers, channels and market expansion.
• Prepare performance reports and provide recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in brand management, trade marketing or sales within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of Ghanaian retail landscape, both modern and traditional trade.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with ability to work on forecasts, budgets and ROI.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Willingness to spend regular time in the market and hold a valid driver’s licence.
