Business Development & Marketing Manager

About the role

Coastal Commerce Microfinance Ltd is seeking a dynamic Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead growth initiatives across the Western Region of Ghana. You will be responsible for shaping market strategy, acquiring new customers, and promoting the institution’s financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies.
• Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
• Drive customer acquisition and revenue generation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
• Support the development and promotion of financial products.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Design marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Set and monitor business development and sales targets.
• Prepare regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify institutional growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, marketing, banking, micro‑finance or financial services.
• Proven record of achieving growth and revenue targets.
• High ethical standards and unquestionable integrity.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and communication abilities.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and risk‑management orientation.
• Understanding of regulatory and corporate‑governance requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, deliver measurable results and collaborate within senior management.
