Caregiver Training Facilitator

About the role

ComfortHands Care Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Caregiver Training Facilitator to support its caregiver training programmes at ComfortHands Academy in Accra, Ghana. The academy's mission is to develop competent, compassionate and professional caregivers able to provide quality care to older adults and people needing help with daily living.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate practical and theoretical caregiver training sessions.
• Train learners in personal care, hygiene, safe patient handling, mobility assistance, infection prevention and elderly care.
• Demonstrate professional caregiving standards, ethics and communication.
• Support practical assessments and help learners prepare for real-world caregiving responsibilities.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or substantial practical experience in caregiving, nursing, gerontology or a related healthcare field.
• Genuine commitment to developing competent and compassionate caregivers.
• Experience in vocational training or caregiver education is an advantage.
• CTVET accreditation or eligibility to act as a facilitator under the applicable requirements is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong communication, teaching and practical demonstration skills.
