About the role
Form Ghana Ltd is seeking energetic individuals to be trained as chainsaw operators for its harvesting and plantation activities. The role involves felling trees safely and efficiently while supporting sustainable forest management in the Berekum area.
Key responsibilities
- Fell, de‑branch, top and cross‑cut marked trees and any additional trees assigned by management.
- Adhere to all quality and safety standards set by supervisors.
- Inspect and ensure the chainsaw and its safety features are in good working order before each use.
- Maintain and repair chainsaws and related equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Report unsafe acts or conditions to the Felling or Harvesting Supervisor.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Required profile
- Male or female candidates with at least a Junior High School (JHS) certificate.
- Physically and mentally fit, dependable and able to follow instructions.
- Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid NHIS card and SSNIT number.
