Commercial Excellence Manager

About the role

The Commercial Excellence Manager will lead the elevation of commercial performance, sales effectiveness, and route‑to‑market (RTM) execution across all West African markets where Fan Milk operates. Reporting to the Sales Director – West Africa, this permanent role is based in Accra and involves managing complex, multi‑country projects with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance and sales execution across West Africa markets.
• Design and implement RTM strategies and distributor management plans.
• Lead multi‑country commercial projects, coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Analyse market data using SFA, CRM and business intelligence tools to inform decisions.
• Ensure alignment with regional sales targets and overall business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10‑12 years of progressive commercial experience, including 3‑5 years in sales excellence or commercial effectiveness.
• Proven track record managing multi‑country projects in West Africa or similar emerging markets.
• Deep understanding of West African trade structures, informal retail dynamics and distributor‑led models.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, or financial services operating across multiple markets.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
