About the role

This short‑term project focuses on evaluating how AI systems solve real mathematical problems. You will translate research and computational workflows into reproducible, terminal‑based tasks that an AI agent must complete.

Key responsibilities

Design multi‑step tasks in numerical analysis, optimization, statistics, probability or mathematical modeling.
Build working solutions, prepare inputs and expected outputs, and create automated tests that verify mathematical correctness.
Debug numerical issues and document assumptions, tolerances and reproducibility requirements.

Required profile

PhD, post‑doctoral experience, or equivalent advanced technical experience in mathematics, statistics or a closely related field.
Proven ability to independently implement and validate computational algorithms, including numerical stability and error analysis.

Required skills

Strong programming in Python, R, Julia, C/C++ and Bash.
Experience working in Linux or terminal environments.
