About the role
We are looking for a reliable Cook to join the fast‑casual kitchen at Station 21 in Accra. The role focuses on preparing and cooking a variety of grilled and fried dishes in a high‑volume environment, serving both dine‑in and takeaway customers.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant menu and recipes.
- Operate grill and fry stations (e.g., chicken, turkey, burgers, fries, and similar items).
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as cutting, marinating, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Monitor cooking times to ensure quick service during peak hours.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist with stock control and report low ingredients or supplies.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, grill, or fast‑food kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in cooking.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and busy service hours.
- Team player with good communication skills.
