Corporate QA/QC Manager – Quality Function

About the role

The Corporate QA/QC Manager leads the company’s quality function across all construction, civil engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, contractual requirements and local legislation. The role provides technical leadership, coaching and governance to project QA/QC teams and drives a culture of prevention and continual improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the corporate quality strategy, policies and annual improvement plan.
• Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and ensure consistent application across all project types.
• Lead, coach and evaluate Project QA/QC Officers, inspectors, laboratory staff and document controllers.
• Develop competency matrices, training programmes and recruitment plans for quality personnel.
• Review and approve Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), method statements and material approvals.
• Conduct performance reviews and periodic quality mobilisation checks before construction starts.
• Advise senior management on major quality risks, recurring deficiencies and strategic improvement priorities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 10 years (120 months) of experience in construction QA/QC.
• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and corporate quality governance.
• Experience managing quality across road, building, civil engineering and quarry operations.
• Ability to develop and deliver structured training programmes.
