Data Analyst – Remote Part‑Time Internship

About the role

The Data Analyst intern will help Cornerstone understand product usage and identify improvement areas by turning operational and product data into clear, reliable reporting. You will collaborate with Operations, Product, and Finance to track key metrics and answer business questions with evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards on adoption, activation, transactions, and retention.
• Clean, validate, and document datasets used for reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly metric summaries for Operations and Product.
• Investigate trends and anomalies and explain findings in plain language.
• Support Finance with transaction and fee reporting when requested.

Required profile

• Good proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic SQL or Python (Pandas) for data analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to present findings clearly with charts and short written summaries.
• Understanding of responsible data handling and privacy.
• Evidence of an academic, personal, or professional analysis project.
