Demand Planner – Full Time

About the role

Jumia is seeking a Demand Planner to ensure optimal stock availability across its e‑commerce platform. The role bridges supply‑chain, finance and commercial teams to align demand forecasts with inbound scheduling and inventory data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, raise and manage purchase orders in the Order Management System (OMS), coordinating with vendors and Key Account Managers to confirm costs, quantities and delivery dates.
• Schedule and book stock deliveries using the Inbound Scheduler, monitor daily inbound performance and resolve SKU mismatches.
• Maintain accurate supply‑chain data (EANs, costs, discontinued lines) and collaborate with finance to address invoice discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability with advanced Excel and BI‑tool proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier communication skills.
• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple timelines and projects.
• Attention to detail in data management and financial tracking.
• Familiarity with Jumia’s core systems (OMS, Inbound Scheduler, BOB/PET) is a plus.
