DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, implement and manage automation for development, testing and deployment, ensuring scalable, reliable and secure infrastructure. You will work closely with software, QA and operations teams to streamline workflows and foster collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise CI‑CD pipelines to automate code builds, tests and deployments.
• Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible for cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Deploy, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or CloudWatch, and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Apply security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patching to meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to align processes and promote DevOps best practices.
• Continuously evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Proven track record of building and managing CI‑CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Monitoring & alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch.
• Security & compliance: vulnerability assessment, patch management.
