Dietician

About the role

The Dietician will design and deliver personalized nutrition care plans for patients and community clients, supporting health promotion, disease management, and prevention of nutrition‑related conditions. Working closely with healthcare teams, the role blends clinical expertise with community education.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluate dietary needs of patients.
• Develop individualized meal plans based on medical conditions, age, lifestyle and goals.
• Provide dietary counseling for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular disorders.
• Monitor progress, adjust nutrition plans and document outcomes.
• Deliver one‑on‑one nutrition education and lead group workshops or health seminars.
• Create educational materials on healthy eating and disease prevention.
• Design balanced menus for hospitals, clinics, schools or wellness facilities and ensure compliance with nutritional standards.
• Oversee food preparation practices to maintain quality and safety.
• Stay current with nutrition research, guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietician certification where applicable.
• Valid practicing license if required by the regulatory body.
• 2–5 years of experience in clinical or community nutrition.
• Experience in hospital or wellness‑center settings is an advantage.
• Experience managing nutrition plans for chronic diseases is desirable.
