Director of Admissions and Development

About the role

The Director of Admissions and Development will lead the recruitment and enrollment strategy for Morgan International Community School, a newly opened private boarding school in Ghana. Reporting to the Head of School, you will act as the primary liaison for prospective families, both locally and internationally, and help shape the school’s admissions model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive admissions strategy targeting students aged 8‑17.
• Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective students and their families in Ghana and abroad.
• Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for families interested in the boarding school experience.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Head of School, Director of Business and Operations, and Academic Coordinators.
• Represent the school at outreach events, tours, and community partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field.
• 5‑7 years of progressive admissions experience, preferably in an international or boarding school setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with senior leadership goals.
