Dispatch Rider – Laboratory & Medical Logistics

About the role

As a Dispatch Rider at Shalina Healthcare, you will ensure the safe, timely, and efficient movement of laboratory samples, diagnostic reports, medical supplies and company documents between collection centres, laboratories, healthcare facilities and clients, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver laboratory samples from hospitals, clinics, collection centres and clients within established timelines.
• Handle specimens properly to preserve integrity and comply with laboratory and safety regulations.
• Deliver diagnostic reports, invoices and official documents accurately and confidentially.
• Maintain precise delivery, collection and chain‑of‑custody records for all items transported.
• Support distribution of laboratory supplies, reagents and consumables between company locations and client sites.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise service speed and operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine motorcycle inspections, basic maintenance checks and promptly report any faults or incidents.
• Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively.

Required profile

• WASSCE Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Motorcycle Rider’s licence (Class A).
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider, courier or logistics rider.
