About the role

World Vision is seeking a reliable Driver to support staff, partners, and visitors across field locations in Ghana. The role combines safe transportation, routine vehicle upkeep, and hands‑on mechanical support to keep field operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Transport internal staff, external partners, and World Vision visitors to and from field sites, ensuring punctuality and safety.
• Oversee routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of the vehicle fleet, developing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide mechanical troubleshooting and repair for vehicles and equipment both in the workshop and on‑site.
• Plan and manage transport schedules for personnel, drilling equipment, and other project materials.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with road safety regulations and World Vision’s safety standards, conducting regular inspections.
• Track fleet usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records accurately.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with at least one month of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle types used.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and the fleet manager.
