DTR Operations Manager – Retail

About the role

The DTR Operations Manager will lead Direct‑to‑Retail activities across assigned markets in Ghana, ensuring efficient van sales, optimal route‑to‑market strategies and full product availability at retail touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily, weekly and monthly sales performance to meet targets.
• Improve numeric and weighted distribution across retail outlets.
• Monitor van productivity, optimise routes and ensure effective beat planning.
• Execute new product launches and track in‑market performance.
• Guarantee availability of all SKUs across territories.
• Lead, coach and supervise supervisors and Van Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics and Finance to optimise fleet and manpower.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and collection targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• 8–10 years of FMCG sales/distribution experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial DTR or van‑sales role.
• Proven expertise in DTR/van‑sales operations, inventory management and sales analytics.
• Eligibility to work in Ghana.
