Electrical / Reliability Technician

About the role

The Electrical / Reliability Technician will be based at Ghacem Limited's plant in Tema or Takoradi, ensuring the reliable operation of all electrical equipment. You will play a key part in maintaining plant productivity through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical machines.
• Monitor equipment performance and carry out corrective actions when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults promptly.
• Liaise with other departments to optimise plant operations.
• Close work orders after job completion.
• Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.
• Ensure safety equipment is available, in good condition, and used correctly.
• Apply sanctions where necessary and undertake any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• HND certificate with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or EETIII with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong teamwork, result‑orientation, timely reporting, and good English communication skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tema or Takoradi.
