Electrical Technician – Process Plant

About the role

The Electrical Technician for the Process Plant will support the Obuasi Gold Mine by performing all types of electrical maintenance on plant equipment. Reporting to the Supervisor, Electrical – Process Plant, the role covers day and night shifts and acts as a reliever during refurbishment projects, ensuring safe and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute routine and corrective electrical maintenance on process plant equipment.
• Perform work on underground infrastructure refurbishment and scheduled maintenance.
• Follow Ghanaian government, AGAG safety and environmental regulations.
• Report and correct any environmental or safety deviations.
• Coordinate with contractors and construction teams on electrical tasks.
• Participate in training, development and performance improvement activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in plant electrical maintenance.
• Senior‑level competency with ability to work independently on day/night shifts.
• Commitment to personal and team health, safety and environmental standards.
