Engineer, Network Monitoring Center

About the role

The Engineer, Network Monitoring Center provides technical and operational oversight of the Network Operations Center (NOC) activities. You will ensure effective network monitoring, incident handling, escalation, change execution support, TowerCo coordination and Service Desk interface management while driving service restoration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day NOC operations to manage alarms, incidents, escalations and service‑impacting events in line with procedures and service levels.
• Monitor NOC performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations and drive corrective actions for service gaps.
• Coordinate planned change activities, confirm readiness, monitor implementation and track post‑change outcomes.
• Liaise with TowerCo on infrastructure incidents, power outages, site access issues and restoration activities.
• Interface with the Service Desk to support ticket management, escalation and customer‑impact communication.
• Analyse incident trends, recurring faults and Service Desk ticket patterns to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in Network Operations, NOC/NMC, managed services governance, change or incident management, or similar telecom environment.
• Knowledge of NOC governance, SLA/OLA management, vendor performance tracking and service‑assurance models.
