Environment and Climate Change (ECC) Technical Expert

About the role

The Environment and Climate Change (ECC) Technical Expert will support the ACTIVATE project’s effort to embed climate‑resilient and green skills into Ghana’s agricultural TVET system. Working with formal ATVET institutions, the expert will guide curriculum integration and campus greening initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) to disseminate ECC‑integrated curricula.
• Develop a comprehensive ECC Training Delivery Manual for facilitators.
• Provide technical instruction on updated Occupational and Unit Standards for Specialized Agricultural Services at National Certificate I and II levels.
• Design and support the implementation of institutional greening action plans for partner ATVET campuses.
• Build capacity of facilitators and project partners to deliver competency‑based training with ECC components.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 84 months (7 years) of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in environment, climate change, and agricultural education.
• Experience working with vocational training institutions and curriculum development.
