Experienced Professional Drivers

About the role

Eskel Group of Companies is seeking seasoned professional drivers to operate long‑haul trucks, corporate fleet vehicles, and shuttle buses across Ghana. Drivers will be the frontline guardians of assets and customer trust, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high fleet efficiency and minimise downtime through disciplined driving and vehicle care.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, checking fluids, brakes, tires, and electrical systems.
• Document trip sheets, fuel logs, waybills and obtain client signatures for financial reconciliation.
• Navigate national and regional corridors, adhering to weight limits and route restrictions.
• Utilise on‑board GPS, digital fuel management and electronic logging devices (ELD) for fleet monitoring.

Required profile

• Valid, unexpired driver’s licence with appropriate class (Class F for heavy‑duty trucks; Class D/E for shuttles or light vans).
• Defensive Driving Certification from a recognised institution.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or at‑fault accidents in the past 3‑5 years.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience, preferably on long‑haul or heavy‑duty routes.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability to resolve minor issues on the road.
