Facility Assistant

About the role

The Facility Assistant will ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment at AmaliTech's Takoradi site. The role combines compliance, maintenance, and project supervision responsibilities, supporting the Director of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and monitor security routines.
• Identify and coordinate minor building repairs and report larger maintenance issues.
• Liaise with landlords, utility companies, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely, on‑budget service delivery.
• Receive, process, organise, and retrieve incoming stock and materials.
• Provide maintenance support and assist with project risk assessment and solution implementation.
• Offer administrative and project‑management support to the Director of Operations and other team members.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or higher in Civil Engineering, Building Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar facility or building‑maintenance role.
• Strong written, verbal, organisational and interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, Email and Google Workspace applications.
• Ability to read building drawings and construction documents.
• Experience in vendor and supplier management, procurement processes and project coordination.
