Field Operations Officer

About the role

The Field Operations Officer will drive the growth of Clean Team Ghana’s rubbish collection service and coordinate biodigester toilet dislodging requests across Kumasi and the Ashanti Region. This role combines customer acquisition, service scheduling, and on‑site quality checks to ensure reliable waste management for households and institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and sign up new customers for rubbish collection across households, restaurants, hospitals, schools and other institutions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer details, service packages and payment status.
• Coordinate with collection teams to ensure timely pickups and follow‑up on service delivery.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service delays, providing timely resolutions.
• Track and report on customer growth, payments and service performance.
• Receive and assess biodigester toilet dislodging requests, assign jobs to approved artisans and schedule service dates.
• Inspect completed biodigester work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Record biodigester service details and report recurring technical issues to management.
• Identify opportunities for expanded services and regular servicing plans for various client types.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse customers.
• Ability to travel within Kumasi and the wider Ashanti Region.
• Basic understanding of building construction and biodigester systems.
