Finance Coordinator - CCRP

About the role

The Finance Coordinator for the Cocoa Community Resilience Programme (CCRP) will oversee all financial operations of the project, ensuring accurate budgeting, reporting, and compliance with donor, government, and Plan International standards. This role supports day‑to‑day financial planning, monitoring, and partner fund management while contributing to overall project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions accurately in SAP and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Lead budgeting processes, monitor budget versus expenditure, and advise on variances.
• Manage partner financial reporting and liquidations, ensuring donor and organisational compliance.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, reconciliation, and maintain adequate project funds.
• Enforce internal financial controls, review vouchers, process payments, and implement audit recommendations.
• Strengthen partner financial capacity through training and standardized reporting tools.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring policy compliance.
• Collaborate regularly with programme and finance teams and conduct field visits to partners for technical support.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant finance coordination experience.
• Familiarity with donor, government, and organisational financial standards.
• Ability to work closely with partners and internal teams in a project environment.
