Finance Data & Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Finance Data & Reporting Analyst will join a leading agro‑processing manufacturer in Ghana, supporting the Finance Manager with accurate reporting, data analysis and dashboard creation. You will play a key role in turning raw financial data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support preparation of monthly management reports and financial performance analyses.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and maintain reporting schedules.
• Produce recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports for senior management.
• Analyse variances between budget, forecast and actual results, highlighting key drivers.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting templates using Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and consistency of financial and operational data.
• Consolidate, validate and reconcile data from multiple systems and departments.
• Support cost‑centre allocation, cost analysis and financial controlling activities.
• Create dashboards and visual reports to aid decision‑making.
• Track and report on KPIs, providing trend analysis and business insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Professional qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis or business intelligence.
• Experience with national and international financial reporting structures.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools).
• Advanced Excel – Power Query, Pivot Tables, complex formulas.
• ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or Oracle.
• Proficiency in MS Office – Word and PowerPoint.
