Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will act as the strategic financial leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis, and control to support the brand’s objectives. This full‑time position focuses on delivering accurate accounting results, optimizing profitability, and ensuring robust financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data and market trends to forecast sales, expenses and develop annual budget plans.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Develop profit‑enhancing initiatives, evaluate cost‑benefit scenarios and explore new business opportunities.
• Maintain a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets and improve profitability.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, communicate strategic goals and hold staff accountable for results.
• Prepare timely financial reports, ensure accurate profit and loss documentation and support property‑wide financial strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience required.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex data and make sound financial decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, demonstrating integrity and the ability to influence stakeholders.
