Financial Services Brand Strategist

About the role

Sora Union is seeking a seasoned Brand Strategist to help financial‑services clients clarify their market positioning and translate complex business models into compelling brand narratives. You will work with regulated, credibility‑driven organizations such as asset managers, fintech firms, banks, and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and strategic diagnosis for financial‑services clients.
• Analyze category dynamics, competitor landscapes, market perceptions, and audience expectations.
• Define or refine brand positioning, narrative, and differentiation.
• Develop messaging architectures that balance sophistication, credibility, and clarity.
• Shape website structure and content logic based on user intent and business priorities.
• Translate strategic insight into actionable guidance for design and digital teams.
• Present findings in client workshops, strategic presentations, and recommendation decks on a regular basis.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of professional design or brand strategy experience.
• Proven experience in brand strategy, positioning, or consulting for financial services, fintech, or complex B2B categories.
• Ability to work across strategy, narrative, and digital structure while handling ambiguity.
• Strong understanding of credibility signals in conservative markets and how to modernize without eroding trust.
• Excellent presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• B2‑level English proficiency or higher.
