Forklift Operator

About the role

Remotown is building a vetted network of experienced forklift operators in Ghana and Nigeria. Selected candidates will be contacted when partner companies have matching openings in warehouses, factories, ports or distribution centres.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload and move goods safely.
• Stack and retrieve stock in racking and storage areas while following load limits and safety procedures.
• Perform daily equipment checks, report faults and keep work areas clean and hazard‑free.
• Record stock movements accurately and maintain basic warehouse documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, factory, port or distribution environment.
• Valid forklift operator certificate or licence.
• Right to work in Ghana or Nigeria and willingness to work shifts.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (counterbalance and reach trucks).
• Warehouse safety practices and ability to follow load limits.
• Basic stock recording and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
