Full‑time Nanny – On‑site in Accra

About the role

SHIRTS N WOOL is seeking a dedicated full‑time nanny to join a busy family in Accra. The role involves providing attentive, age‑appropriate care for children, fostering a safe and nurturing environment while supporting daily routines and learning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise children’s daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime.
• Plan and engage in age‑appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain a clean, organized child‑focused area.
• Assist with school preparation, homework support, and safe transport within agreed parameters.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in babysitting or childcare with a track record of safe supervision.
• Ability to cook simple, healthy meals for children.
• Patience, empathy, and respect for diverse family values.
• Basic understanding of early childhood development and positive behavior support.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills to build trust with children and parents.
• Prior nanny or similar caregiving experience preferred; childcare, first‑aid or CPR certifications are a plus.
