General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead daily operations across debt recovery, credit management, bailiff services, and risk monitoring. Based on-site in Accra, this senior role ensures compliant, high‑quality service delivery while driving efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all operational workstreams, allocating resources and streamlining processes.
• Lead, mentor, and manage performance of cross‑functional teams.
• Set performance targets and monitor financial results, preparing regular reports.
• Support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and partner organisations.
• Ensure all activities comply with legal requirements and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or general management within financial or legal services.
• Strong leadership, team supervision, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of debt recovery, credit management, risk monitoring and related regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Proficiency in planning, organising and implementing process improvements.
• Comfortable using office productivity tools and business software for reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Accra and thrive in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment.
