General Manager – West Africa

About the role

Binance is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead its West African operations. You will shape the regional strategy, drive market expansion, and ensure regulatory compliance while representing the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow Binance’s presence in the country, aligned with global objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations and coordinate all required documentation with regulatory bodies.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, and industry associations.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the user base.
• Lead market‑entry initiatives and manage cross‑functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Act as the primary liaison for customers, partners, media, and community groups.
• Represent Binance at industry events, conferences, and public speaking engagements.
• Oversee P&L, daily operations, budget management, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior‑management experience in a similar capacity.
• Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and work with government agencies.
• Strong track record in market expansion and business development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
• Entrepreneurial, self‑starting attitude with a passion for crypto and digital assets.
