Ghana Validation Partner for Telehaematology Platform

About the role

HemoExchange is launching Africa's first telehaematology referral platform and seeks a Ghana Validation Partner to lead clinical and commercial validation in Ghana. This equity‑based founding role offers up to 15% ownership in the Ghana arm, contingent on milestones and active contribution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and recruit laboratories for the Ghana pilot and build relationships with haematology professionals.
• Validate the remote peripheral blood film workflow, gather structured feedback, and address adoption barriers such as pricing and image acquisition.
• Support recruitment and assessment of expert reviewers, and develop competency and quality‑assurance processes.
• Advise on local regulatory, professional, and laboratory practice considerations and help define pricing and reviewer remuneration models.
• Represent HemoExchange with laboratory partners and stakeholders, and contribute to the strategy for moving from pilot to commercial launch.

Required profile

• Medical Laboratory Scientist or Biomedical Scientist with extensive haematology and peripheral blood film experience, or a medically qualified haematologist.
• Strong professional network within Ghanaian laboratory medicine or haematology.
• Demonstrated ability to engage laboratory managers, scientists, clinicians and professional bodies.
• Interest in digital health, telehaematology and healthcare innovation, with good judgement on clinical quality and patient safety.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and capacity to work independently on a developing project.

Required skills

• Expertise in peripheral blood film morphology review.
• Knowledge of Ghanaian laboratory regulations and clinical governance frameworks.
